BioDrops designs and markets organic cosmetic containers to offer an ecological alternative to the welcome products offered by hotel, rural accommodation and tourist apartments. Ferran and Susaño assure that the recognition is “a great opportunity to grow our project and publicize a product that we believe will be a revolution in the world of amenities".
On behalf of CETT Fundación, its president, Narciso Coll, remarks: «We are very happy that, in such complex and uncertain moments, entrepreneurial initiatives continue to emerge. This is a sample of the push of people and the value it has and the possibilities offered by a sector that is most affected by the pandemic, such as tourism. I want to congratulate the winners, but also the rest of the finalists, because all the projects have been very interesting. We must also thank the participation of all the members of the jury and the institutions they represent, since they help us make these awards better”.
Dr. Enric López C., Director of Entrepreneurship at CETT Fundación, adds: «The award-winning projects share common elements: innovative ideas, with mature teams, they are scalable projects and are linked to sustainability. Without a doubt, it is a very good starting point because our mentors from CETT Fundación can help and accelerate them.«.
Innovation and the contribution of new perspectives and business models in the sector are two of the factors that the Jury has taken into account when awarding the prizes, which are sponsored by the Barcelona Provincial Council and with the support and collaboration of CETT and Ágora BCN, International University Residence.
